The Kazan Kremlin is the only surviving Tatar white stone fortress in Russia and the northernmost point of spread of Islamic culture in the world. Here are located the main cathedral mosque Kul Sharif, one of the largest mosques in Russia, the central cathedral of the Republic of Tatarstan, created by the architects of the main cathedral of Moscow in the distant XVI century, as well as the famous falling tower Syuyumbike, which is among the 10 most famous falling towers in the world. Accompanied by an accredited guide, the excursion introduces the 1000-year history of Kazan, the main stages of construction of the defensive fortifications on Kazan Hill, the world-famous unique architectural objects of the Kremlin, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The island-town of Sviyazhsk is a historical and cultural gem of the Republic of Tatarstan. The ancient fortress was built in the distant Middle Ages during the reign of Ivan the Terrible and served as a military outpost in the Volga region, as well as a place of rest and preparation of military units for a campaign against the impregnable fortress of Kazan. The island-town of Sviyazhsk is famous for its history and the beauty of natural and town-planning landscape. You can visit the following unique monasteries on the island: Assumption-Bogoroditsky and of John the Baptist, with the oldest church in Tatarstan.
