Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Head of the ISESCO for his personal participation in the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum” and the Kazan Global Youth Summit last year.
“Kazan is my second home. It is always my pleasure to visit your republic,” Doctor Almalik responded. He said that for all participants it was especially important to learn about bonds of Russia with the Islamic world.
“Tatarstan attaches great attention to the development of cooperation with your organization. This year we are planning to have the first congress of Ministers of Culture of the OIC member-countries on the sidelines of the KazanFroum and we invite you to take part in it,” Rustam Minikhanov said.
He also informed about the readiness to host a conference of Ministers of Culture of the OIC member-countries next year and expressed his hope for facilitation and active participation of the ISESCO in organization of the event.
“Taking into consideration the mission of your organization, I am sure today we have all conditions for ramping up our further cooperation in promotion of traditional values and development of culture, education and science,” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.
