The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov meets Secretary General of the OIC Hissein Brahim Taha in Jeddah

“You are well-known in Russia as an authoritative representative of the influential Organization uniting Muslim countries and with which we closely interact,”- Rustam Minnikhanov said and once again congratulated his interlocutor with the 55th anniversary of the Organization which took place in September last year.
During the meeting, both parties discussed in details important topics raised at the KazanForum emphasizing that this platform is a significant step in strengthening of the mutually useful and effective cooperation between Russia and Islamic countries. The Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan invited the OIC Secretary General to attend the event.
“It is a great honor to meet you. We highly appreciate the work of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-the Islamic World” and count on expanding the cooperation of the Group headed by you and the OIC,” the Secretary General emphasized.
