The International Economic Forum "Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum” was held in 2009 for the first time and created leading international platform for discussing issues of cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. The mandate of the Forum is to promote the improvement and strengthening of economic and trade relations between the Russian Federation and the OIC countries.
