The version of the tafsir (interpretation) of the Koran for blind people will be presented at KazanForum
31 MarchBlind specialists from the Yardem-Help Kazan Charitable Foundation adapted the latest edition of the interpretation of the Koran by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan according to the Louis Braille method. One complete set of this work in Braille consists of 10 volumes. It will be presented in May at KazanForum, where representatives of the Islamic world will be able to appreciate the work of Kazan specialists.
“Tafsir is the fruit of the joint work of many translators and representatives of the clergy, thanks to which blind people have the opportunity not only to read and memorize the Holy Scripture, but also to understand its meanings. This commented translation into Russian was made under the auspices of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan and is the result of seven years of work not only by philologists, but also by imams, representatives of Islamic educational institutions,” said Ilgam Ismagilov, President of the Board of the Yardem Foundation.
