“We attach great importance to interaction with Bahrain. The leaders of our countries are in constant contact. Tatarstan at its level seeks to contribute to the development of cooperation within the framework of Russian-Bahraini relations,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.
He noted that delegations from Bahrain are frequent guests in the republic. They regularly participate in the Tatarstan Oil-Gas and Petrochemical Forum and the International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum”, as well as make a valuable contribution to the work of the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group.
“His Majesty the King sends his greetings and best wishes to you. He always recalls with warmth your meetings in Moscow and Bahrain,” the Ambassador said in turn.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of trade and economic cooperation, strengthening ties in scientific, educational, cultural and tourism spheres, cooperation in the field of Islamic (partnership) banking and financing, as well as the “halal” industry .
