18 MayOn May 18, within the framework of the XIV International Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum 2023", a press conference "Women's energy: in the name of goodness and well-being" was held following the results of the session "Women's view on "non-women's" business".
During the event, leading women entrepreneurs spoke about the importance of the Forum for building a business, agreements that arose on the sidelines of the Forum, problems and their solutions in the current situation, maintaining a balance between work and personal life, and also answered journalists' questions.
Special attention was paid to the track "Women's View", the topics of which were family and business issues, beauty and health according to Sharia standards, as well as charity. The forum hosted the presentation of two awards: Halal business women and Halal charity women, which will be established to support and enhance the role, status and authority of women in the business environment.
Professor MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Director of the Center for Digital Economy and Financial Innovation, CEO of ANO "Platform for working with entrepreneurs' appeals "Zabusiness.Russia" Elina Sidorenko appreciated the women's business of Kazan.
"Kazan today shows itself quite successfully in the development of the service sector and digitalization. We were once again convinced that the women of the region are mobile, kind-hearted, ambitious and focused on Western markets," Sidorenko shared.
Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Galina Karelova said that there are regions in Russia where 26 women's projects are represented. The politician mentioned the development of environmental issues in the regions of Siberia and the Far East and the popular project "Women of the Arctic".
"There are regions in Russia where all 26 topics of women's projects are presented. These are women's entrepreneurship, women's health, women in the digital economy, women in agriculture, science. If we take the regions of Siberia and the Far East, the environmental agenda is developing very actively. If we talk about the Arctic regions, then the most popular project is "Women of the Arctic". These are not only women living in the Arctic regions, but also women from a large number of countries where Russia took part in the development of the nuclear industry and the construction of a nuclear power plant interact with each other," Karelova said.
