Russian will develop cooperation with the Persian Gulf countries
18 MayOn May 19, the XIV International Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum 2023" will discuss the law on Islamic banking, which passed the first reading in the State Duma of the Russian Federation and will have the second and third readings. This was announced at a press conference on May 18.
Now, further development of legislation with the Persian Gulf countries, including a gap in the legislation of the country. But it will be eliminated in the nearest future. Inter-parliamentary cooperation allows for a more objective, quick approach to all existing problems faced by business.
"One of the important points is further digital-financial assets, digital currency. These issues that allow interstate exchange of financial instruments," said Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Airat Gatiyatov.
Economic ties between Russia and the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf are actively developing. According to the results of the last year, the turnover with them increased by 70%, i.e. $10 billion. Further steps of interaction for the development of relations between the countries are already known. Investment in halal products is also planned; we are planning to actively develop this area with great potential. Also in the coming years is planned a broad development of tourism, science and education.
