The NAAIR.Global Expert Platform Meeting was held on May 18, within the walls of the International Exhibition Center Kazan Expo. It was dedicated to attracting and supporting foreign companies by Russian institutions specializing in their work with investors. The Meeting was attended by members of the Association, which includes development agencies from 76 regions, leading Russian development institutions and foreign agencies working with investors. Investment development agencies from the OIC countries were also invited to participation. The guests of the meeting shared their best practices and spoke about their peculiarities of working with investment projects.

The event was moderated by Sergei Yuryevich Belyakov, Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR). The first speaker was Avrakh Ivan Yurievich, Director of Development of NAAIR. Ivan Yurievich spoke in detail about the activities of the investment agencies of the Association and their work to improve the investment climate. Then the moderator passed the floor to the next speaker, Fahad Al Gergawi, CEO of the Dubai Investment Promotion Agency. In his speech, which was conducted via video link, the speaker noted that the Agency is part of the economic life of Dubai and perfectly serves business at the international level. According to the speaker, today representatives of more than 100 nationalities live in Dubai, and the Agency provides them with comfortable conditions.

Further, within the scope of the Meeting, Zohrab Shakir Ogly Gadirov, the Head of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, AZPROMO, presented the experience of its activity. It is worth mentioning that this year investments in the oil industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan have increased by more than 5 times.

The activity of investment agencies in Turkey were presented by the Deputy Head of the Investment Office under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Turkey.

In conclusion, the floor was given to the representatives of the regions: Marina Gennadyevna Epifantseva, Deputy Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, Gulnara Rifovna Miftakhova, First Deputy General Director of Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, AO, as well as to KazanForum participants from the Kaliningrad and Orenburg regions, who also shared their experience.
